The earliest Barker in my collection is John Barker, 1610-1652 Who arrived in the ship: Abraham of London, in Virginia in 1635. He was married to Anna Hannah Williams and his parents were Sir Robert Barker and Catherine Ackworth. 

My earliest Barker Ancestor is Sarah Barker born about 1675 in Surry County, Virginia.  She married Robert Lanier about 1694 in Virginia.  They both died in Terrell County, North Carolina.
