I have tried desperately to add “Chaillou” to the list of hard to find surnames.  I chose the “C” category, selected Maryland because that is where my 3rd great grandfather had passed away.  All ancestors after him come from Maryland.  His name was Stanislaus Chaillou.  He is my biggest brick wall as I can find absolutely nothing on him.  If I was able to find just the tiniest fact about him, it would definitely help my research. When he (Stanislaus) passed away it was in Maryland, around Conway St. His dates are 1808, France – 1852, Baltimore, MD (Conway St.).  My brick wall includes his wife Barbara Emerson whose dates are 1812, France – 11/12/1869 Baltimore, MD)  Their only son was named Eugene S Shiloh.  I know my information is long winded, but what I am asking for is help with the name Chaillou because no matter where I look, I come up empty handed with that name.  Your help would be tremendously appreciated.
