The extracted index includes the Social Security Death Records Index, the Mortality Schedules, the lineage-linked databases 100, 101, and 102, and the Salt Lake City Cemetery records. Over 1.8 million individuals have been located in these databases containing birth year and location. Records that did not have both a year and location were omitted from the compilation. Documents with a birth year after 1880 were also omitted. The Census index databases were not used because they did not have information about births. In the case of the mortality schedules, the birth year was estimated based on the age in the year of death.
