What this index covers
The Massachusetts Society of Mayflower Descendants describes the “Bowman Files” as the most comprehensive manuscript collection on Mayflower genealogy. They represent George Ernest Bowman’s 50-year dedication to uncovering the histories of the Mayflower passengers and their descendants. Throughout this time, he amassed more than 20,000 pages of documentation. Susan E. Roser organized these extensive records into five volumes for the Genealogical Publishing Company.
This index details nearly 82,000 individuals, providing insights into their lives and legacies from the 1600s through the 1900s.
