DNA testing has changed the way families explore their past. Records can take you far, but DNA can uncover answers hidden for generations. DNA: A Guide for Family Historians is a book that helps you understand this powerful tool in a practical, straightforward way.

This revised edition covers the major types of DNA tests and explains how they work. It gives you guidance on using results to answer family history questions, even those that seem impossible to answer with documents alone. The author includes examples that show how DNA can connect distant relatives, confirm lines of descent, and open new research paths you may not have known existed.

The book is written for readers who want clear instructions without technical confusion. If you have never used DNA in your own research, this guide helps you take the first step with confidence. If you already use DNA testing, you will find helpful updates, new examples, and a wider view of how genetic evidence fits into serious research.

DNA is now a standard part of family history work. Learning to understand and apply it can strengthen and complete your research. This book is one of the best introductions in print today, which is why it is the featured giveaway.

If you would like to purchase the book for family and friends, or even for yourself, you can do so by going here.
